Finally, the highly anticipated follow-up to the New York Times bestseller Beautiful Disaster. Can you love someone too much?
Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.
In
Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. But just when he thinks he is invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.
Every story has two sides. In
Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it’s time to see the story through Travis’s eyes.

Source: I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

At first I thought this was a sequel to Beautiful Disaster, but then I was told that it is the same story just told my the POV of Travis instead of Abby.  I must say that this was kinda neat.  This is something that I really think started with Midnight Sun from the Twilight series.  Which of course never was printed.  But all in all I think a lot of people should do this.  It gives us readers a choice on what POV we want to read the book in.  So those who love girl POVs could choose that and so forth.  I couldnt put this one down!  I loved it even more than Beautiful Disaster!  Great Job McGuire! Cant wait for more!!

  1. I have to agree, I thoroughly enjoy the different POV(Edward's) with Midnight Sun. In the beginning, I thought, okay rerun, but it was so interesting seeing what was unfolding from a different POV. I thought it would be a rehashing of an old scene but it gave you so much more depth and feeling. Pretty amazing and I live in hope that Meyer will some day complete it and offer it to her fans.
What would be neat would be if the writer offered both POVs to be released at the same time so that we could chose which we wanted to read (me--it would be both)!
