Well for those of you who have younger girls (ages 9+) I have a new series that will knock your socks off. The My Very UnFairy Tale Life series by Anna Staniszewski is a deff keeper and must read! It is filled with twists and turns that will keep any girl entertained. I think that they will be able to still follow the story as well as challenge themselves as a reader. I was lucky to get the opportunity to read not only book one but also book two that was out back in the end of March. These are must reads as you follow Jenny though her life as a 12 year old adventurer. She lives with her aunt since her parents disappeared years before. I love how these books start and end. They are so cute and wonderful that I just cant wait until Nov. when book three comes out!

I've spent my life as an official adventurer. I travel across enchanted kingdoms saving magical creatures and fighting horrible beasts that most of you think are only myths and legends. I've never had a social life. My friends have all forgotten me. And let's not even talk about trying to do my homework. So -- I'm done!! I'm tired and I want to go back to being a normal girl. But then along comes "Prince Charming" asking for help, and, well, what's a tired girl like me supposed to do?

Jenny the Adventurer is back, and this time she's off to the Land of Tales: the crazy place that all fairy tales come from. If she can defeat an evil witch and complete three impossible tasks--all without getting eaten by blood-thirsty monsters--Jenny might finally get some answers about what happened to her parents.
This is one adventure Jenny can't afford to fail.
